General profile

Reporting to the Proposal Manager, the Proposal Specialist will be responsible for cost estimation and for the technical and financial management of Requests for Quotation (RFQs) addressed to private customers, utilities, and public and private tenders. The role includes the preparation of proposals to be completed within agreed deadlines and in full compliance with customer requirements, ensuring the technical integrity of the offer and conformity with project specifications. Close collaboration with the Sales Department and Management is required to support order acquisition, as well as with the Engineering Department to ensure a smooth handover once the contract is awarded.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop preliminary technical solutions and define the most suitable technical and commercial configuration based on customer requirements and the available product portfolio

  • Manage the entire bidding and quotation process autonomously, ensuring high-quality proposals aligned with both customer and company needs

  • Prepare pricing using commercial price lists as well as public and private pricing references

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of customers and build long-term professional relationships

  • Support the sales team during key customer meetings in both pre-sales and sales phases

  • Strengthen technical knowledge and working relationships with suppliers

 

Required skills

General profile

Reporting to and working closely with the Marketing & Sales Manager, the Account Manager will contribute to achieving the order intake budget of the subsidiary Imequadri through the sale of medium- and low-voltage electrical switchboards. 

In addition to managing an established customer portfolio in the North-West area, the Account Manager will be responsible for identifying new clients and business opportunities. Potential support on export clients may also be considered. 

A high level of collaboration with other company departments is required, as the workplace is also a production facility. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the existing customer portfolio and acquire new clients within the assigned area
  • Promote COL Group products and services with particular focus on MV/LV electrical switchboards of the Imequadri Business Unit
  • Conduct client visits and negotiate contracts
  • Prepare sales forecasts, visit reports, and update the CRM system
  • Support the Estimating Department and prepare simpler technical-commercial offers
  • Coordinate and support any multi-mandate agencies and/or technical firms operating within the assigned area

Required skills

Reporting to the Technical Department Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for the management of projects related to MV and LV electrical switchgear systems.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze contractual conditions, both technical and economic/administrative, related to projects
  •  
  • Manage the project, acting as the main point of contact for the Client
  • Participate in internal and Client project progress meetings
  • Interface with internal and external suppliers to gather information such as project progress, delivery status, and any issues that may impact the project schedule

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented TIG Welder to join our metal fabrication department. The selected candidate will be responsible for precision welding of steel (stainless and carbon) and aluminum components, used in the structural frames and internal parts of MV and LV electrical switchgear.

 

Responsibilities

  • TIG Welding: perform high-precision TIG welding on thin sheets and mechanical components

  • Technical Drawing Interpretation: read and interpret fabrication drawings to correctly position and assemble parts

  • Material Preparation: carry out cutting, grinding, and cleaning of welding edges

  • Finishing: perform visual inspection of welds and post-welding finishing to ensure a high-quality aesthetic result

  • Collaboration: work closely with the workshop team to meet production timelines and comply with safety standards

 

Required skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in TIG welding (preferably in light metal fabrication or switchgear manufacturing)

  • Excellent proficiency in TIG welding on multiple materials (stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum)

The selected candidate will be responsible for the final stage of the production process, ensuring that each MV and LV switchgear panel meets strict safety, functionality, and customer technical specifications prior to shipment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Functional and Instrument Testing: perform insulation tests, dielectric withstand testsF contact resistance measurements, and functional/electrical logic tests on MV and LV switchgear

  • Compliance Verification: ensure wiring and components comply with single-line diagrams and functional schematics

  • Component Configuration: parameterize and test protection relays, motorized circuit breakers, multimeters, and monitoring systems

  • Certification: prepare test reports and final technical documentation, including certificates of conformity

  • Troubleshooting: identify wiring issues or component defects and liaise with Engineering and Production for resolution

 

Required skills

  • Technical diploma in Electrotechnics, Electronics, or equivalent qualification

  • 3–5 years of experience in testing or wiring of complex electrical switchgear (preferably MV)
