IMEQUADRI DUESTELLE - URGNANO (BG)

General profile
Reporting to the Technical Department Manager, the Project Engineer will handle the technical development of MV and LV electrical switchgears commissions, from the analysis of technical specifications requested by the customer to final testing and related documents.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyse the technical specifications requested by the customer and verify the scope of supply.
  • Take part in internal meetings with the customer in order to discuss the commission technical aspects.
  • Develop the commission documents (if necessary, with the support of external technical offices).
  • Define the list of materials to be supplied and technically verify the suppliers’ offers.
  • Support the construction and testing of switchgears.
  • Prepare, along with other Departments, the final documents.

 

Requirements

  • High school or university degree in Electrotechnics.
  • Knowledge of power electrical switchgearsin medium and low voltage and of the main norms of reference.
  • Experience in the same role of at least 2 years or previous experience in a switchgear manufacturer company.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with Autocad and Office.
  • English language skills.

General profile
Reporting to the Technical Department Manager, the Protection and Automation Engineer will handle the technical development of MV and LV electrical switchgears commissions, focusing on aspects related to electical protections, programming and communication systems.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyse the technical specifications requested by the customer and verify the scope of supply.
  • Take part in internal meetings with the customer in order to discuss the commission technical aspects focusing on aspects related to protections and automation.
  • Develop the commission documents (if necessary, with the support of external technical offices), logical schemes, selectivity studies and calibration charts.
  • Define the list of materials to be supplied and technically verify the suppliers’ offers.
  • Support the construction and testing of switchgears.
  • Prepare managing programs for electrical protections, logics of automation in the protection system, PLC logics, communication grid with external managing systems.
  • Program download and testing along with the Testing Department (both internal and attended).
  • Prepare the final documents and programs to be given to the customer.
  • Support construction site personnel, either internal and of the customer, in the testing and commissioning phases.

 

Requirements

  • High school or university degree in technical fields (Electrotechnics, Electronics, Automation).
  • Knowledge of power electrical switchgears in medium and low voltage and of the main protection and communication systems (Modbus, IEC61850).
  • Experience in the same role.
  • English language skills.

Reporting to the Technical Department Manager, the Junior Project Manager will handle MV and LV electrical switchgears commissions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyse the commission technical, economical and administrative contractual conditions,  
  • Manage the commission, being the contact point between the company and the customer.
  • Take part in progress meetings, both internal and with the customer.
  • Interacting with internal and external suppliers to gather information on work progress, delivery status and potential risks of delay.
  • Develop, along with other Departments, the commission Gantt, keeping it updated and considering any necessary amendment.
  • Interact with the customer to set expediting or project verification meetings.
  • Monitor invoicing and payment steps and verify all necessary documents to meet contractual milestones.
  • Monitor commission costs.
  • Manage economical variations along with the Commercial Department.

 

Requirements

  • High school or university degree in technical fields (Electrotechnics or Management).
  • Knowledge of power electrical switchgears in medium and low voltage.
  • Experience in the same role and/or in a company in the same field.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with Autocad and Office.
  • Knowledge of MS Project.

Main tasks:

  • preparation of the Company’s documentation for requests for authorisations accessed on site and/or at Customers’ establishments;
  • management of documentation on the web portals of various Customers and/or by e-mail for authorisation purposes start operating activities various sites/ establishments;
  • analysis and verification of the progress of work on contracts, preparation of accounts to be shared with Customers;
  • Analysis and monitoring of the progress of assembly activities;
  • Various contract allocations via the management system;
  • assistance in the coordination of operational personnel on site and management interface with Company’s Customers.

 

Requirements:

  • preferably experience of at least 2/3 years in a working environment with similar tasks, acquired in company operating in the electrical sector (also on site)
  • PC use, office package, management, etc. ;
  • Organisational, analytical and management skills;
  • Essential: precision and reliability;
  • Willingness to work overtime beyond normal working hours.
